Parallel-agent Mac app
Concord vs Conductor
Conductor runs agents side by side. Concord makes them work together: who owns which file, what was decided, and what's ready to review.

why teams pick concord
Conductor is a good launcher. It doesn't stop parallel agents duplicating work or reaching conflicting decisions. Concord does, and works inside Conductor's agents too.
- 01
Worktrees move the conflict
Separate worktrees stop clashes on disk and push them to merge time. Claims stop them before work starts.
Worktrees and agents - 02
Agents that talk
Parallel agents can ask each other questions and split work, instead of each guessing alone.
Agent-to-agent messages - 03
A quarter of the price
$15 a seat with unlimited agents, free and open source on one machine, and not tied to a Mac.

common questions
- Is Concord a Conductor alternative?
- For coordination, yes. Conductor isolates agents; Concord coordinates them with claims, overlap warnings, messages, task memory and review packets.
- Can I use Concord with Conductor?
- Yes. Conductor runs Claude Code and Codex, which both speak MCP. Concord shares one workspace across a checkout and all its worktrees.
- Does Concord work on Linux and Windows?
- Concord installs with npm wherever Node runs, and coordinates agents in any terminal or IDE. It isn't tied to one desktop app.
